I can't believe it is already 2008!! Last year was a crazy year for us. At the time we were living in my Bro-in-law's basement apartment in Great Falls, Montana. Yes, Montana, the middle of nowhere it seemed! In January we found out that after only 5 months of marriage we were going to be parents!!
Very scary for me! In may we found out that our new addition was going to be a boy, which made it all more realistic, two days after that Andy left to go to Malaysia for 3 weeks, when he got back I had gained 10 pounds!!! WOW!! In July, Andy got a promotion to be a manager of Chili's, we had two weeks to pack our stuff and move to Twin Falls, Id, where he started his training. We were sad to leave our friends we'd made the previous two years, but very excited to get on with our lives in the direction we wanted to be. We lived in Twin for 2 1/2 months, enough time to have a baby and move again! September 19, 2007 was a miracle day for us.Our Beautiful baby boy Kyler Kenneth Boyd was born at 8:40 a.m, he weighed 8lbs 14oz and was 22 inches long. I had only been in labor for almost 7 hours. Which seemed like nothing I imagined it would have been! Let me tell you one thing, the epidural is amazing! lol!
When Kyler was 3 weeks old we moved to Idaho Falls, Id, into my parents house until we could find something else. One month later we moved into our home. Which was a HUGE blessing for us. We absolutely love our house, it felt like home the first time we walked inside! Andy loves his new job! I am a stay at home mom, which I couldn't imagine spending my time any other way! Kyler is growing so fast. He is VERY ticklish and talkative. He is now 5 months old and loves eating "real" food! He likes everything so far. He is now sitting up by himself, but cannot yet rollover, but we are working on it! He loves to play with his daddy! They have all sorts of tricks, that are scary to me!! If it weren't for the cute smile on his face! He is our pride & joy!
