Weekend at the Cabin!!

Island Park is our winter "getaway" we escape to my grandparents cabin and stay for the weekend. They don't plow the roads to get there so we have to load all our stuff onto the snowmobiles or in the little sleigh and take several trips. As winter wears on and we get more and more snow it all piles up on the roof and every year we figure out a way to get it off! This year we got a wire and cut it down while sliding with it. It sounds like thunder inside the cabin and usually wakes any sleeping babies up (which happened twice this time!) But it is SO fun!

Here is a video of Kyler and Andy sliding off the roof of the cabin!
Ky wanted to play outside so bad... he kept bringing me his hat or trying to put it on himself... he looks so cute all dressed up!Ky's favorite person! They are best buds! And dad couldn't wait to take him for a ride!

SueAnn and Trent brought up their Wii and borrowed Guitar hero, that was fun! Especially watching dad play the guitar with his crazy hair and Brynly... she does so good!!! Here are some fun pictures! We also had to test everyone's age. Andy very proud of his 27, I guess I am a few years older, at 57!! lol! My mom was only 70!! She was a little upset by those numbers and didn't really want to play after that! lol! Next was the boxing tournament, husbands against wives... a little unfair I think! We even got videos! Which are pretty hilarious!
SueAnn and Trent duking it out! She didn't win! She looks very determined though! : )
Sorry, you're gonna have to crank your neck to watch this one... I couldn't figure out how to turn it!
Angie and Brady... Andy cut off their video after only 2 seconds! Sorry guys!

Next Mozart Maybe??

I changed my other mind!!

So a couple posts back I wrote about my new determination to go to school and get my LPN. I would be done next may with everything! It was going to be great!! I would finally have some sort of a degree, where if need be I could work and make enough to support our family. Our thoughts were, for me to finish school, go back to work and send Andy to school to get a degree, in something. HOWEVER, I have changed my mind, a little, I have to rewind a little to make sense. My little sister is in the LPN program here at EITC and loves it! She told me about a part-time program that they have, you only have to go to school two days a week... WOW! Not bad, 4 semesters 1 1/2 years and I would not only have time to spend with Kyler but I'd also have my degree. Sounded PERFECT for my situation. I went and talked to a counselor and found out that to get into the program I would only need 3 classes that were pretty easy. I signed up, paid my dues, filed out my FAFSA forms and in 1 week I was all signed up! It seemed like things were going very smoothly and I had this HUGE weight lifed off my shoulders. I'd been promising my dad that I would get my education & now I finally was fulfilling that promise! Well the same day that Andy had his Appendectomy I found out that I am pregnant. I was actually about 6 weeks along. HOLY COW! Now what am I going to do. How can I do it now?? I was so excited that I was pregnant, but now so confused at WHY everything worked out so perfectly & seemed so right. Well at my first doctor's appointment we found out that I am due on our anniversary, August 19, 2009, which is 9 days after school starts. Then we found out that they are discontinuing the part time program for 2009. CRAP! My plan was failing!! Not only would I have a brand new baby, but I would be in school every day, basically, from 8-5. How in the world could I sacrifice that time with my new baby for school? I know it can be done, and people do it all the time, but that time is very precious to me, not only that but breastfeeding would be definatly out of the question. So the decision has been made that I am going to wait a year to get into the LPN program. Which seems a lot better, with the situation. By that time the baby will be about 9 months old, hopefully when that time comes I won't have second thoughts. I have been so excited about finally getting done, but now we are on hold for a little longer. It has been 3 years since I was in school, so one more year won't kill me. Anyway, so we are very excited that we are going to be adding to our family, again. It seems like EVERYONE is pregnant, which is exciting!! Some people may not agree with me, but I think that it is very exciting. I am now 12 weeks, we got to listen to the heart beat on Monday, which i think is absolutely amazing. I have been SO sick, basically all day, it has made going to class a little more difficult than I thought, and having "pregnancy brain" isn't helping. But overall, it has been kindof fun being back in school!! So there is another somewhat boring update. lol!

New pictures

I took our old memory card in the get the pictures off and I had few cute ones that I hadn't posted yet!!
Very tired baby!! He actually did this twice in a row, falling asleep at lunch time! The first time he looked SO cute but I wanted to get him to bed before he wouldn't take a nap, then was kicking myself for not getting a picture... then he did it again the next day!! So that was the first thing I did.
He is getting so old, he has been eating with his silverware for awhile, but he is actually getting really good at it. We decided to let him sit at the table in his high chair and he has been a better eater, not making such a HUGE mess. I was very surprised!
I can't believe it has taken me this long, to get this picture... and it was the last one I got before the death of the camera. This is Grayson. I have been babysitting Tuesday's and Thursday's since the beginning of September. And this is the first and only picture I have of the two boys together. They play so good together... most of the time. Until one of them has a toy the other one thinks is theirs!! It is so fun to watch them play!!

This actually happened a week or so ago but our camera is broken :( I took it in to see if it could be fixed and they told me that new cameras are not made to be repaired!! So that is my sad excuse for not having any cool pictures or updates!

Yet another boring update!

It really hasn't been that long since I last posted, but it seems like so much has changed!! I had the cutest pictures to post to this blog, but my camera is not working at the moment... so the pictures will have to come later!! Kyler is growing so fast! He is just starting to talk... sortof, he really tries! He loves to talk on the phone, but only when no on is on the other end. He is now sitting at the table with us, still in his high chair, but he since the change he hasn't been near as messy!! YAY! He has to always have silverware and occasionally he wants a cup! I can't believe how big my baby is getting. I also decided to stress my life out as much as possible so I am starting school again! Today was my first day, and sadly I felt like crap today! But it all went fairly well!! I am seriously thinking about trying the nursing thing again. I am kindof struggling with the idea at this point, it just seems like a lot! But it also seems like the best time to do it!! I have a few more pre-req classes that I am taking now, and then in May I could be in the LPN program at EITC. SCARY!! It is so much different going to school as a mom. I'm SO wishing I would have finished before!!!!! Other than that I guess everything is the same. I am just feeling so overwhelmed by the fact that we have such a great family, friends and I think I have some of the best neighbors there are! I have come to really love them, they seem to be more like family! In the last couple of weeks I have felt so grateful & blessed by our decision to move home, to buy our house and live in our neighborhood. It has been one of the best decisions we have made!
