Memorial Weekend!!

Sorry I am so slow! It was such a fun weekend. Kyler & I went camping up to Henry's Lake by Island Park from Friday morning until Monday afternoon. Andy had to work most of the weekend, He finally joined us Sunday night after he got off work. We missed him, but tried to have fun! Here are a few pics from our first camping trip of the season!

This was our happening' camp! We had My mom & Dad in their fifth wheel, SueAnn and Trent in their new fifth wheel, Trent's brother and his wife in their camper, I was borrowing my parent's motor home, and Angie and Brady were in a tent! and Poor Andy (my parents dog) had to sleep outside with all the scary animals -- He's a very pampered dog!

However pampered Andy the dog may be... he is still such a good dog to the little kids. He lets them pull on his ears and sit on him, even ride him... if they can manage to stay on... which is never! But that doesn't mean that they don't try! Kyler loves dogs so much. That is one of his favorite words! Every animal he sees he points and says "PUPPY!!" We are working on it!! He says "tow" for cow... but its a puppy first! lol!

And just so you all know.... My parents got Andy before Andy & I started dating... and his parents have a dog named Missy, that they have had for years!. So it's fair. lol!!

Kyler ended up being my bed buddy.... even though he took up most of the bed! He had a nightmare one night and I was so tired, I couldn't just hold him... so into my bed he went... which he has NEVER actually slept in our bed before. So it was a little bit of an adventure. But he kept me warm! lol!

Kyler even got chased by the truck! The guys are all coming back from Fishing. They did pretty good too!! We had quite the fish fry on Saturday night and again last night from all the fish they caught!!

Here is one of the lucky fisherman!! He caught a nice big fish on Monday! He wasn't very excited about taking a picture!

Grandpa helping Kyler ride Bryn's bike without training wheels. He can't even reach peddles but as long as Grandpa held the back Ky would steer straight and turn when needed or told to. He thought he was somthin else! If you look at kyler's face in the last picture you'll see just that! He thinks he is so big!!

After gettin back from camping we thought maybe we'd start working on getting kyler in a big bed. So since we had a little time we went to the store and found the rail for his new bed. When we got home and he was ready for bed he crawled up in that bed and laid down. So we put the guard together and decided to let him try. And here he is the next morning. YAY!! Maybe it won't be so bad. Our computer is still in his new room so we have to wait a little bit to let him fall asleep in there. But the day is soon approaching! We wanted to give him a couple of months to get used to sleeping in that bed before his little brother enters his little life. Now we are just hoping he likes his brother! :)

This was actually a few weeks ago. Kyler's really bad day! We took him to the doctor because he was running a high fever, they poked and prodded him and found nothing wrong. So they sent us packing to watch him for a few days. When we got home from the Dr's office he was eating his lunch when he tipped his chair over backward and bit his tongue. You can barely see it, but there is a bump on his tongue you can see. This I think was the next day... He bit a whole through his tongue.

My mini vaca.... sortof

This last week I had the opportunity to go to Provo to throw a baby shower for, lets just say we are more like sisters than friends! It was so fun! She is due June 24th with her first little boy!! YAY!! And I am so excited that she is having a boy too!! So here is a picture of us together, our fat picture. Although it doesn't look like it, she cheated I think, I am bigger... lol, at least I think I am. Andy had to work while I was gone, so I took Kyler with me. He was such a good boy! One of the days we went to the grocery store down there, the prices were nothing short of AMAZING!! I don't know if I just don't pay much attention, but it seemed like the food was SO CHEAP!! My mom told me they probably get it from Mexico... I'm hoping not! lol! Anyway, they had these cool carts with the cars in front and Kyler was SO excited to drive the car!! He even picked up his own little girlfriend! This random little girl walked up and just got in with him! It was so cute. Of course her parents were not very excited about her just jumping in with him, but I assured them that she was ok for a minute while we waited in line.... which ended up taking forever! After a couple minutes she got out and he leaned over to the side she got out of and patted the seat next to him for her to get back in! It was so cute!! My little boy already picking up the girls! AHHHH!! lol!

It was a lot of fun! On my way home I called my hubby and he sounded like he had, had the most boring weekend and missed me!! :) I love hearing that :) Anyway, he got me a scentsy candle for mothers day & my birthday, which is about a month away. He made me breakfast and let me sleep in a little bit. It was so nice, a perfect Mother's day, except that he had to go to work after church :( Anyway... Thanks honey!! I love you! And I hope all you mothers had a fabulous Mother's day as well!!

Crazy dancing... and a little update

I have been trying to get this on video forever!! Kyler loves to Dance, and he is so funny when he does! He spins in so many circles that he gets dizzy and almost falls down! The best one was during conference, every time the choir would sing he would get up and spin until he was so dizzy he couldn't stand up without falling down. Now every time he hears music he busts into his crazy spinning dance. Its pretty funny!!

I never thought this day would come... but I am finally done with this semester of school!! It was a little crazy for a little while, trying to juggle everything. But I think I did ok. I only freaked out and broke down I think once... maybe twice :) But through it all I think that is quite the accomplishment. We are still trying to agree on names. I think so far we are somewhat agreed on Easton, but no middle names seem to fit, so who knows if his first name will either.

Since I've been seriously slacking with our blog here are a couple pictures that I have collected the last few weeks.

Kyler has become a little bit of a crazy sleeper. He just looks so cute while he is sleeping that I can't help go into his room just to peek at him, quiet and peaceful looking!! :) I love it! Sorry to make you crank your neck, but for some reason I can't get my computer to rotate pictures.

He thinks he needs to do everything on his own. Putting on, or trying to put on his own shoes.

An amazing family!

The Yeager Family lives in our ward. They are simply amazing! Here is their story...

We are trying to grow our family through adoption. We feel strongly that our family is not complete and we'd like your help in completing it! We are the Yeager family! We live in Southeast Idaho. We are Scott (36), Mykalee (31), Katie (9), Jack (8), Rebekah (5), and Olivia (3). We have been so blessed. We have four healthy kids and have made many happy memories together already. I (Mykalee) have horrible pregnancies. All four kids have been difficult to get here. I get Hyperemesis Gravidarum- which means morning sickness times a billion, 24 hours a day for most of the 9 months. The easiest thing to describe it as is food poisoning. Anyway, that's not necessarily why we want to adopt. We have jumped into all of our pregnancies without a second thought. Even after Katie's- the worst one (I lost 30 lbs in the 1st trimester), I didn't need convincing or strong promptings. I knew what I was in for and was okay with it. Scott and I have talked about having a large family since our first date. He is a fantastic dad and I have always known I was born to be a mother. We decided to stop at four after Olivia was born, even though we wanted more. The feeling that we aren't complete has gotten VERY strong recently. We prayed about another pregnancy, and got without a doubt a NO. I have to admit there was some relief. We were sure we weren't done discussing our family with the Lord, but had never really considered adoption. Well, through separate and joined answers to prayer, we KNOW this is what we are supposed to be doing. So, if you know of or hear of a potential birth mother that wants to place her baby(or babies- we'd love twins!) in a loving home, please direct her to us. IT WASN'T ME!

This morning has been quite the adventure already!! Kyler, and his buddy Grayson like to get in lots of trouble! This morning while I was scheduling a tire rotation Kyler and Grayson broke into the office, shut the door behind them... found a HUGE bag of M&Ms dumped them all over the floor. Then they hid in the closet while they continued to eat quite a few of the M&Ms. When I was finished with my call. I thought I could hear them, but I couldn't find them anywhere!! They weren't in Kyler's room playing, where I thought they were, they hadn't gone into the basement and they hadn't escaped outside... as far as I knew at least!! I checked all the rooms and still couldn't find them! I was panicking! WHERE ARE YOU!!?!?!? Now I knew I could hear them, so I looked in the office again and I could see Gray's head pop out of the closet. AHHHHH!!! M&Ms EVERYWHERE!! All over Kyler's face and shirt as you can see!! Oh my gosh I laughed so hard!!

Silly little boys!! They have so much fun together. My neighbor Jen, who has twin boys, told me "Now you know how it would be to have TWINS!! AHH I don't think I could do it, everyday and remain SANE!! But they are so cute!!

Late Easter pictures!

Our Easter this year wasn't all that exciting. We didn't get to any Easter egg hunts, poor Kyler!! But we did get a few pictures taken.

Here is a picture of all the grandkids on my side of the family. It wasn't an easy task to get all the kids to all be in the picture, and not screaming. Mine was the worst!! This was I think the first picture taken before the crying started... sadly it was the only one where he wasn't crying.

He was not excited to take pictures... AT ALL! In fact this is the only one we could get where he wasn't screaming! I'm still not quite sure what was wrong with him that day!!

And my brother's adorable little girl, Anna Elise. She has the funniest facial expressions!! They are hilarious, mostly because they are just like her daddy's!! It was so much fun having my brother and sister-in-law come stay for two whole weeks!!

Picking names is SO HARD!!

I think I said in the earlier post that we had a girl name picked out, but were really drawing blanks on boy names. Well after several helpful suggestions, a couple baby name books and lots of conversations about boy names. We have gotten NOWHERE! I made a huge list of any boy names that I thought were possible, but nothing is popping out, AT ALL! We had Kyler named, I mean middle name and everything decided before I was even 4 months pregnant, and by doing that I decided that I made this whole situation worse. I'm feeling panicked and stressed about this whole name thing, even though I have another 4 months I liked feeling like I had enough time to think about Kyler's name that by the time he was born it just fit. Sorry.... I had to vent! lol.
Any suggestions for boy names you don't mind me stealing?? We need help!

Other than that we are doing really good! I am getting so close to being done with school, and I am SIKED about that! Going back to school is REALLY hard! Quite a bit harder than I thought, but I am also a little relieved that I am really going to do it! Kyler is getting smarter everyday... he is picking things up way too quickly for me... He figured out the locks on the cabinents, so he's been getting into the dishwasher soap. He figured out how to open the dishwasher, he's really close to opening doors, and he has mastered the gate at the top of the stairs. Even though that gate isn't for him falling anymore, there are way too many things for him to get into downstairs. We are going to have to fix that very soon!! A blockaid of some sort! They grow way too fast!!
