1 Week old!

So this post is a little late since he was a week old on Sunday.... but I still can't believe that he is a week old!! The last week has been so fun!! He has been such a good baby!! We working on getting him to every four hours instead of three... which he does during the day... but not at night. I forget how much they sleep, and I love to watch him sleeping. Sadly he sleeps so much better when he is cuddled up with someone ;). Its so hard not to cuddle with him when he is SUCH a cuddlebug!! Kyler was never that way, so its been kinda fun! I have to make myself put him in his bed so he doesn't get used to sleeping with us. lol!

Kyler is LOVING his little brother, he has to give him kisses all the time. If he gets hurt I have to kiss it better.... and then he tells me that Aiden has an owie too and I need to kiss it better too!! We do have to make sure that Aiden is ALWAYS out of Ky's reach... otherwise he tries to pick him up, but he is loving his brother!! I'm so glad that kyler is a deep sleeper, Aiden hasn't bothered his sleep yet! That is lucky! He wants to be such a big help! He tries to do everything we do. He wants to use all the baby equip. on himself!! He's been so funny! I even caught him with my pump up to his chest... lol!

We are absolutly loving our boys! Its been an amazing week!!

Aiden Austin Boyd

So I guess my sister SueAnn is the winner... she guessed right on his height and weight and was only off on the day by 2 days. But I'm not sure what you are going to win.

Now for the story.... On Sunday morning I started having pretty good contractions, for 45 minutes. After that they continued to be consistent but they didn't even hurt, they were in my back and felt like a low back ache, they were about a minute long and about 2 minutes apart. I called my doctor and he said to go in and be checked. So at 10:30am I was admitted into the hospital. The nurse seemed a little skeptical about me staying. She checked me and I was STILL only at a 3 and 75%. I wanted to SCREAM! She called the doctor and he said to check me again in two hours and if I had done anything I could stay. An hour and a half later she checked me and I was at a 4... YAY!! So at 12:30 they got me an epidural and started me on pitt. The doctor came in at 1:30 and broke my water. At 4 O'clock I still hadn't been checked and I was feeling a lot of pressure. The nurse came in and set up the supplies table and when she was done checked me. She told my sister and my mom, she is going to have a baby... keep her legs crossed!! OH MY GOSH!! She ran out to call the doctor, and at 4:29pm Aiden Austin Boyd was born. I think I pushed 6 times. I love epidurals... they are amazing! The coolest thing about the delivery was that Dr. Leavitt had Andy gown up and he helped to deliver the baby.

So like the post SueAnn put on, he was 7 lbs and 10 oz. and 21 inches long. A whole pound and 4 oz smaller than Kyler. I'm so glad I'm going in the right direction, with smaller babies. :)

The funny part about the whole name thing is that after he was born he were talking about what to name him and we were still stuck on the same two names, Aiden Austin and Easton Andrew. So we flipped a coin, and I lost!!! lol!! After he was born I thought he looked like Aiden anyway. So that is how his name was decided upon!! lol!!

He has been such a good baby. We are definitely enjoying having him home. Kyler... has liked him so far... he likes to point at him, rub his head, hold him, and kiss him. He has tried to pick him up... by himself. We're going to have to watch him VERY closely. If anyone is holding Aiden, Kyler points at him and cries... "mine". He's a little possessive.

HE IS HERE!!!!

Aiden Austin Boyd made his way into the world today about 4:20 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and is 21 inches long. Labor and Delivery went really well and quite fast!! Mom and baby are doing good!!

Way to go Missy!! Congrats on a beautiful baby Missy and Andy!!

STILL WAITING!!

I know that I am not due until Wednesday.... but I am so done!!! The last few weeks have not gone by quickly at all!! Not that I am whining... lol! The other thing is that everyone who was due around the time I am has already had their babies!! NOT FAIR!! lol!! At my appointment on Wednesday I was dialated to a 3!! Hopefully he comes on his own in the next couple of days... otherwise I am being induced on Tuesday! YAY! At least I can count on that one. I just don't really want to be induced! So I guess we've come to sortof an agreement on names.... we have two picked out

Aiden & Easton.

We are just trying to figure out middle names and which name to go with. Here are some choices:

Easton Andrew Boyd... I LOVE THIS ONE... but I'm loosing that battle.

Aiden Austin Boyd... Its alright I guess, Andy's favorite

Easton Austin... its slowly growing on me.... but its so many "ton" sounds. I don't know

Easton James?

Its seriously driving me crazy! Hopefully we decide something so we can name this little boy!

Awaiting the arrival of # 2

The past few weeks have been very busy full of reunions and camping, which have been very fun! I am getting very anxious for this baby to arrive, but I still have a lot to accomplish before he decides to come! I am still feeling pretty good, I'm trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about it as much! lol!! Kyler, I hope is getting excited for his little brother to come... I'm just hoping he is nicer to his baby brother than he is to his toys and my neices dolls.

For those of you who haven't heard yet... Andy is going to try to go back to school... which means that he won't be able to work full time. SO... it looks like we are going to try and rent out our house until he is finished and live in/manage some apartments in town while he is in school, so I don't have to go to work full time with two kids. I hate that we are doing everything backwards! Anyway.... so if anyone knows anyone who is looking for a GREAT house to rent in an AMAZING neighborhood... please let us know.

We went up boating again last night, this time Andy actually got to go and he got lots of wakeboarding time in. I think for the first time I actually got quite a few pictures and videos of him showing off his mad skills... in wrecking... lol!

Any Guesses??

So my friend did this and I thought it was fun... About a month before her baby was due she put all the stats on and had people guess when her bundle of joy would arrive and how big he would be. So I thought I'd copy her and see who gets the closest. So here it goes....

I'll start with my last delievery.... Kyler was born at 8:40am the 19th of September the day after my due date. My water broke at 2am that morning. I measured small most of the pregnancy with him... but I had gained ALOT of weight. He was 8lbs 14oz, 22 inches.... quite a bit more than they expected. I was dialted at a 1 and 50% for three weeks & two days before I had him I was dialted to a 2 and 80%.

Ok... I went to the dr yesterday and I am dialated to a 1 and 80%. I am 36 weeks measuring big... at 37 weeks. I haven't gained near as much weight, like 20 lbs less, but I still have 3 1/2ish weeks to go.
